Welcome to www. joey-aristophanes.com, home of the collected work of Sean Martin. In these pages, you'll find illustration work, graphic design pieces, and -- so you dont feel like your time here was too much of a waste -- a souvenir. There's a whole buncha new wallpapers up, so enjoy. I'm going to be adding a few more before too much longer.

Candide has been made part of the Voltaire collection at the University of Trier in Germany. Last year was his 250th birthday, so I hope you didnt forget to send a card. I've also redone and finished the images to the Gilgamesh series. Originally, there were only going to be twelve plates, but it's more like twenty. Also in the works (and not yet posted) is a new series based on the Zen story of the 10 Bulls (the first two are looking pretty gosh darn sharp) and another stab at Gulliver's Travels.

Meanwhile, Doc and Raider are undergoing a major shift conceptually. A good one, I think. Check it at their blogpage. The New York Times has already mentioned it once, which is a good sign, I think, and it's a regular part of the Bilerico Project.

I also have a blog on high school musicals from 1920 to 1950 - High School Musical the Origin. I'm constantly looking for more of these little gems, so if you know of any or have some lying around capturing naught but dust, let me know.

If you're looking for my exhibit and theatre design portfolio, you'll find that all moved to www.coroflot.com/sean_martin, along with some of the illustration work seen here. This is where I keep more persomal projects: various pieces of book illustration, cartoons, pro bono graphic design, and the like. Still, I hope you enjoy your tour. And please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
